Our Norway tour packages from Bangalore (Bengaluru) are shaped by what Bangalore travellers love most: the outdoors. The city's weekend trekkers find Norway's fjord hikes, from Preikestolen to Trolltunga, a natural next step, and its photographers come for the Northern Lights over Tromso and the Lofoten Islands.
Families and tech professionals often plan around the Dasara holidays and the year-end break, which fall neatly in Norway's autumn colours and aurora season. For longer summer trips, Norway's mild weather feels much like a cool Bangalore morning, with daylight lasting almost all night.

There is no non-stop flight from Bangalore to Norway, so every trip includes one connection. Bangalore has a good choice of both Gulf and European connections.
Kempegowda International Airport is in Devanahalli, north of the city. From Hebbal or Yelahanka allow about 45 minutes; from Whitefield, Koramangala or Electronic City allow 1.5–2 hours in evening traffic.
Flying into Oslo and home from Stavanger or Bergen saves a day of backtracking on a fjords-and-hiking trip.
Photographers with heavy gear should check cabin baggage limits on the European leg, which are often stricter than on Gulf airlines.

No. There is currently no non-stop flight from Bangalore to Norway. Most travellers connect once through a Gulf hub such as Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi, or a European hub such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Paris, and land in Oslo. Total journey time is usually 13–17 hours.
Yes. Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) near Stavanger is a moderate hike of about four hours return and is usually possible from spring to autumn. Trolltunga is a much tougher 10–12 hour hike, best done with a guide between June and September. We build either into a fjord itinerary.
Summer in Norway feels like a cool Bangalore winter morning, often 12–22°C, with rain possible. Winter in Tromso is usually below freezing, and much colder with wind chill, so thermal layers, a warm jacket and waterproof boots are essential. Many aurora tours provide heavy thermal suits.
Often, yes. Recent phones with a night mode can capture the aurora, especially on a tripod. For the best results, use a camera with a wide-angle lens, a tripod and long exposures. Keep spare batteries warm, as the cold drains them quickly.
Indian passport holders need a Schengen visitor visa. Apply online, then give biometrics and documents at the Norway visa application centre in Bengaluru. The visa fee is around EUR 90 for adults, plus a service charge. Apply six to eight weeks before travel.
The aurora season in northern Norway runs from around late September to early April. The Dasara holidays and the Christmas–New Year break both fall in this window. We plan at least three nights in Tromso or Alta, as the lights can never be guaranteed.
Seven to ten days works well for Oslo, the fjords and Bergen. Add two or three days for Preikestolen, and three or four for the Arctic or Sweden and Denmark.
The cost depends on the season, hotel category, scenic rail and cruises, guided hikes, Arctic experiences and flights. We share an exact quote once your dates and route are fixed, and our Norway trip cost guide gives typical budgets.
Yes. Scenic trains, fjord cruises, museums and easy nature walks suit children well. We keep transfer days short and book family rooms, which are limited in Norway, well ahead.
Vegetarian food is easy to find in Oslo and Bergen, which also have Indian restaurants. South Indian food is harder to find outside the cities, so we brief hotels in advance and suggest a few stays with kitchens.
Yes. One Schengen visa covers all of them. Popular options include Stockholm with the fjords in summer, or Tromso with Finnish Lapland in winter.
Payments are made in INR through Indian banking channels. GST and TCS apply to overseas tour packages; TCS can be claimed against your income tax. The payment schedule and cancellation terms are shared before you confirm.
